    Yamada & Partners Tax Co.

    Junichiro Yamada Certified Public Accountant and Tax Accountant Office opened in Kanda-Sudacho, Tokyo.

    Began with two employees. Moved once every two years or so in the early years in search of better working environments for employees, and stressed employee training from the start.

  • 1984

    Relocated to Uchikanda.

  • 1986

    Relocated to Otowa, Bunkyo Ward.

  • 1988

    Relocated to Nihonbashihoncho.

  • 1989

    Yamada Consulting Group Co., Ltd.

    Tokyo Financial Planners Co., Ltd. (now Yamada Consulting Group Co., Ltd.) was established.

  • 1991

    Expansion of business domains.

    Published books and held training programs with each change to the taxation system. Published 10 or so separate books per year.

  • Relocated to Kanda-Konyacho.

  • 1995

    Head office relocated to Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku Ward.

  • Number of employees in the group surpasses 100.
  • 1999

    Yusei Audit & Co.

    A section of the company was spun off to establish Yusei Audit & Co.

  • 2000

    Group organization accelerates.

    This was a time when all members of the organization worked together to take on new challenges and overcome barriers. As the organization's culture spread, we made progress on building the Group. Our ties as an organization strengthened as a result of everybody working together based on shared fundamental principles.

  • Tokyo Financial Planners Co., Ltd. (now Yamada Consulting Group Co., Ltd.) listed on NASDAQ Japan.

  • 2002

    Reorganized into a Certified Public Tax Accountants' Corporation.

  • Established Yamada & Partners Consulting Co., Ltd.

  • 2005

    Opened the Nagoya Office as the first regional branch.

  • 2007

    Opened the Kansai Office (now Osaka Office).

  • Number of employees in the group surpasses 500.
  • 2008

    Shigehisa Miyake succeeded Junichiro Yamada as Managing Representative Partner.

  • 2009

    Established Yamada & Partners Accounting Co., Ltd.

  • 2010

    Head office relocated to Marunouchi, Chiyoda Ward.

  • Opened the Fukuoka Office.

  • 2011

    Opened the Singapore Office as the first overseas branch.

    Opened the Tohoku Office (now Sendai Office).

    Opened the Shanghai Office in China.

  • Number of employees in the group surpasses 1000.
  • Established Y&P Legal Professional Corporation.

    Yamada Consulting Group Co., Ltd. transferred its listing to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (now Prime Market).

  • Opened the Matsuyama Office.

    Opened the Minami Kyushu Office.

    Opened the Nagano Office.

    Opened the Kagoshima Office.

  • Number of employees in the group surpasses 2000.

    Established Yamada & Partners Advisory Co., Ltd.

  • Opened the Taiwan Office (alliance office).

  • Established Yamada & Partners Sustainability Co., Ltd.

  • Opened the Honolulu Office in US.

  • Opened the Ho Chi Minh office in Vietnam, expanding to 20 domestic and 7 overseas locations.
